The area

The best of the North Coast from your door

Tír Hollow sits at the foot of Binevenagh, on the Causeway Coastal Route, with the Magilligan foreland stretching out in front — right on the edge of the best of the North Coast. This is our honest guide to what is worth your time, all a short drive from the gate.

The sights, a short drive away

Miles of white sand, minutes away

Benone and Magilligan give you miles of white sand and dune, some of the best beaches in Ireland, just minutes away. They are wide enough to feel empty even in summer — good for a long walk, a swim, or letting the dog run if you are staying at Atlantic View.

The Giant's Causeway and the coastal route

The Causeway & beyond

The Giant's Causeway, Northern Ireland's only UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an easy drive east — along with Mussenden Temple, Downhill Demesne and clifftop walks cared for by the National Trust. Working harbours, forest parks and the full Causeway Coastal Route are all within reach: make a full day of it, or dip out for an afternoon and be back at the fire pit by evening.

How to use the area

Most guests split their stay: a day or two doing nothing but the lakes, the forest and the hot tub, then a day out on the coast. That balance is the whole idea of Tír Hollow — a hidden base with the North Coast on the doorstep.
